Screaming Fist (Oakland) made their way down to DTLA on May 9, 2026 and ripped through a blazing set at that pirate ship run aground, the Redwood Bar & Grille. Make sure you get their 7″ EPs and see them live as often as possible.

Metal punk, or is it punk metal? Whatever it is, Zorn, from Philadelphia, dished it out with a raging fury at Knucklehead in Hollywood o June 24, 2025. I’ve noticed that bands coming out of Pennsylvania in recent years are some of the best around. I haven’t heard all the bands from that state, but the ones I have heard absolutely rip. Pick up the Zorn records at Sorry State.
